1. How do I pay my Visa card bill?

There are currently four primary methods to pay your Visa card bill:

a)     Online Banking – You may use the electronic online bill payment feature to pay a Collabria VISA credit card that is linked to the Canadian dollar.

From a VP Financial account – Just add “Collabria VISA” as a bill payment payee and
then you will be all set. Please note that the US Dollar Visa cards cannot be paid
using this method.

b)    VISA MyCardInfo – You can make a payment by adding your “bank account encoding” or “cheque encoding” within the MyCardInfo site. For details on bank account encoding please refer to our Banking FAQs by clicking here.

Please note that if you are adding your VP Financial bank account as a payment account under the MyCardInfo site, your “Routing Number” will be “13500809”.

c)     At the Branch – VP Financial staff are able to submit a payment directly to Collabria Visa. Please note that a VP Financial US Chequing Account must be setup in order to pay a US Dollar Visa Card.

d)    Cheque in the mail – All cheques are to be made “Collabria Visa”. Please ensure you note your account number in the cheque memo or enclose the payment stub attached to the Visa statement. The Visa Payment Address is as follows:

Collabria Visa

CP 6417 SUCC Centre Ville

Montreal, QC  H3C 3L4

2. How do I setup or change the PIN number on my Visa card?

Step 1: Please call 1-844-788-2725 to setup or change your PIN number on your Visa card by using the automated system. Please note that you will need to make this call using the primary phone number listed on your account. Alternatively, please contact Cardholder Service at 1-855-341-4643.

Step 2: After your PIN number has been setup or changed you will need to activate the new PIN number. When you first use your card to make a purchase, you will be required to enter your PIN three times to trigger your PIN activation. The first time you enter your PIN, the machine will advise that your PIN is invalid. You must repeat this step two more times. On the third time, the PIN will be authorized and your transaction approved. As part of the approval process you may be asked by the merchant to provide a signature on the sales slip. At this point, your PIN number change will have been finalized.

6. I have a Collabria Visa card that has an annual fee attached to it. When does this annual fee normally get charged?

The annual fee is charged during the first month the credit card becomes activated. The fee will be charged by debiting your Visa card accordingly.

7. I would like to redeem points from my Collabria Visa card. How do I go about doing that?

You can redeem your points by calling 1-866-236-8130 or by visiting the Collabria rewards website by clicking HERE.

When redeeming your Visa points, we highly recommend you compare the value of the merchandise or travel rewards against what you could receive in the form of a statement credit. In some cases you may be best suited to obtain the statement credit and purchase merchandise or book your travel separately.

8. Does Collabria Visa offer autopay through a bank account debit?

Yes. There are two options for autopay. Collabria Visa can auto pay for the minimum payment or the full outstanding balance. This automatic payment setup will debit your connected bank account accordingly. In your MyCardInfo account, you need to go to the “Payments” tab and then to the “Automatic Payments” subtab to activate this feature.

9. I am having some difficulty with making purchases in the United States with my Collabria Visa because the payment terminal is asking for a zip code. What should I do?

Collabria Visa has advised us that members can try two approaches when encountering the zip code confirmation prompt.

Option 1: Key in the three digits that correspond to your postal code and add two zeros afterward. As an example, if your postal code is V5N 4P3 then you would enter “54300”.

Option 2: Key in five zeros. Simple enter “00000”.

Should neither option work please check with a representative at the vendor for further assistance. If there are still challenges with the card, please advise Collabria Cardholder Services at 1-855-341-4643

10. Does Collabria Visa have an alert or notification system for certain types of transactions?

Collabria Visa recently setup “Smart Controls”. You can access and setup these settings inside your MyCardInfo Visa online access. Please refer to the Smart Controls tab inside the “Account Services” section. We also have an FAQ page about the Smart Controls. You can access that by clicking HERE.
