VISA FAQ

1. How do I pay my Visa card bill?

There are currently four primary methods to pay your Visa card bill:

a)     Online Banking – You may use the electronic online bill payment feature to pay a Collabria VISA credit card that is linked to the Canadian dollar.

        From a VPCU account – Just add “Collabria VISA” as a bill payment payee and
        then you will be all set. Please note that the US Dollar Visa cards cannot be paid
        using this method.

b)    VISA MyCardInfo – You can make a payment by adding your “bank account encoding” or “cheque encoding” within the MyCardInfo site. For details on bank account encoding please refer to our Banking FAQs by clicking here.

Please note that if you are adding your VPCU bank account as a payment account under the MyCardInfo site, your "Routing Number" will be "13500809".

c)     At the Branch – VPCU staff are able to submit a payment directly to Collabria Visa. Please note that a VPCU US Chequing Account must be setup in order to pay a US Dollar Visa Card.

d)    Cheque in the mail – All cheques are to be made “Collabria Visa”. Please ensure you note your account number in the cheque memo or enclose the payment stub attached to the Visa statement. The Visa Payment Address is as follows:

Collabria Visa

2. How do I setup or change the PIN number on my Visa card?

Step 1: Please call 1-844-788-2725 to setup or change your PIN number on your Visa card by using the automated system. Please note that you will need to make this call using the primary phone number listed on your account. Alternatively, please contact Cardholder Service at 1-855-341-4643.

Step 2: After your PIN number has been setup or changed you will need to activate the new PIN number. When you first use your card to make a purchase, you will be required to enter your PIN three times to trigger your PIN activation. The first time you enter your PIN, the machine will advise that your PIN is invalid. You must repeat this step two more times. On the third time, the PIN will be authorized and your transaction approved. As part of the approval process you may be asked by the merchant to provide a signature on the sales slip. At this point, your PIN number change will have been finalized.

8. Does Collabria Visa offer autopay through a bank account debit?

Collabria Visa currently does not offer the autopay functionality. Members must initiate a payment request at this time through the online channels or by contacting our branch. However, autopay is in the process of being implemented and Collabria expects this to be available by the end of 2019. Autopay is a feature where your bank account would be debited automatically each month to pay off the minimum payment or the full balance of the Visa card.
