Remembering Enzo Nadalin

VP Financial would like to take a moment to celebrate and give thanks to the many contributions made by Enzo Nadalin.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of former Board Member, Enzo Nadalin who passed away on March 3, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Enzo was a true gentlemen in every sense of the word. He was a man that carried himself with the utmost integrity while showing great respect, loyalty and kindness to anyone who had the privilege of being part of his life.

Enzo’s work life with the Vancouver Police Department will be remembered and admired for many years to come. He served with the VPD for 32 years in a number of specialized units and commanded large squadrons of officers. He was also tasked with the responsibility of managing budgets and operations. During his tenure with the VPD, Enzo also found the time to work as an instructor with the Justice Institute where he would teach the next generation of new recruits about Auto and Fraud investigations. After he retired from the VPD, he spent an additional 10 years working with ICBC where he focused on investigating auto crime. Perhaps one of the most recognizable achievements in Enzo’s career was the implementation of the first “Bait Car” program in British Columbia. The Bait Car program is still active today and has been a key contributor to the reduction in auto crime. Enzo’s tireless work earned him numerous accolades including being awarded the Canadian Auto Theft Bureau Award for Auto Theft Investigator of the Year for all of Canada.

Last but not least, Enzo spent many hours and made numerous contributions while on the Board of Directors at VP Financial. He served as a Board Member for over 18 years with additional roles as part of the Audit Committee, Credit Committee and the Building Committee. Thank you ever so much Enzo for being part of the VP Financial family for so many years.

You will always be in our memories and we tip our cap to you Enzo!

The VP Financial staff.
