V.P. Credit Union is pleased to advise that members are now able to initiate the setup of their Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) direct deposit through our Member Direct portal. Sign up now to receive your CRA payments via direct deposit which include:

  • Canada Emergency Response Benefit
  • Income Tax Refund
  • Goods and Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST) Credit
  • Canada Child Benefit
  • Canada Workers Benefit

There are three easy steps to do so as illustrated below.
Step 1: Log into Member Direct as per usual and then click the “Account Services” tab.

Step 2: Inside Account Services and click “Set up CRA Direct Deposit”

Step 3: Complete the next three screens as indicated.

After you have completed the final three screens and submitted your request, it will take the CRA approximately two business days to process your request.

Please note that this newly enabled feature provides only the primary account holder with the direct deposit. Joint members wishing to setup their direct deposit would need their own VPCU account where they are a primary account holder. Alternatively, joint members could setup their direct deposit into their joint VPCU account via the CRA MyAccount portal and would enter their VPCU joint banking account details accordingly.

If you have any questions about this new feature, please contact the VPCU Member Service Department at 604 683 2434 or email at [email protected].
